Repairs Disclaimer
Repairs are carried out at the owner's risk and Fonehut cannot be held liable for any underlying faults that manifest as a result of a repair. All faults must be declared before repair begins. Once you sign the disclaimer or proceed with the repair, you fully agree to these conditions.
Sometimes, after replacing LCDs, fingerprint recognition may stop working. Phones with Face ID may also lose functionality depending on prior liquid or accidental damage.
Liquid damage repairs carry no warranty and require upfront payment—whether successful or not. Often such phones seem to work due to shorted resistors. Cleaning may remove these shorts, sometimes causing the phone to no longer power on. Most manufacturers do not support repairs on liquid-damaged phones.
Accidental damage can also reveal new issues post-repair. As stated earlier, Fonehut will not be liable for such faults.
Warranty & Liability
The service and materials provided by Fonehut are on an “as is” basis. We disclaim any warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
In no event shall Fonehut be liable for direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages related to services, parts, or products.
We do not accept responsibility for loss of data, income, profit, property damage, or third-party claims from use of our products or services.
Customer Data Responsibility
You are solely responsible for backing up your data. We are not liable for data loss or corruption. Please ensure all important information is stored safely before handing in your device.
Collection & Disposal
Once repaired or deemed unrepairable, we will notify you. If the item isn’t collected within 30 days, it will be disposed of. Any value recovered may be used to cover unpaid charges.
Courtesy Phone Policy
If a courtesy phone is required, one may be issued free of charge (subject to availability and terms).
